Inputs, switching and display layout

The five video inputs comprise two HDMI 2.0 ports, two HDMI 1.3 ports and one DP 1.2 port. Huidu describes the DP 1.2 and HDMI 2.0 inputs as three 4K-capable inputs. The processor supports seamless switching between sources and flexible positioning of three video windows. Input resolution and window capability are separate from the 15.72-million-pixel LED output limit.

LED output and installation

Use the 24 Gigabit Ethernet outputs to connect the LED receiving-card system. For longer cable runs, the three 10G fiber interfaces can be used with a compatible fiber transceiver; Huidu names the FT08 for long-distance transmission and screen copying. Check the receiving-card system, port mapping and fiber equipment against your project design before ordering.

Control options

The HD-VP2430 provides 16 scene presets and supports control through USB-B, Wi-Fi and RS232. Huidu also lists mobile-app control and an optional infrared remote. TRS audio input and output are available for installations that need an external audio connection.
