Connections and Playback

The HD-B8H provides two HDMI 1.4 inputs for source and cascade workflows, one HDMI output for loop-out or monitoring, two USB ports for playback or updates, and an OTG port. One network input connects the controller to a LAN, while four Gigabit Ethernet outputs drive the LED receiving-card chain. RS232, RS485, TTL sensor and relay interfaces support peripheral or central-control integration. A 3.5 mm stereo audio output is also provided.

Depending on the display load, the controller supports multiple video windows: up to 2 × 4K, 6 × 1080p, 10 × 720p or 20 × 360p. When the total spliced load exceeds 8.29 million pixels, the supported configuration is reduced to 1 × 4K, 3 × 1080p, 5 × 720p or 10 × 360p. These are playback-window figures, not the LED output resolution of a single controller.
